 Xc 38 · European Yacht of the Year 2011

Saturday evening (22nd of January 2011), the Xc 38 was awarded the European Yacht of the Year Award in the Luxury Cruiser category.

Managing director, Lars Jeppesen was handed over the prize on the first night of the Düsseldorf Boatshow.

The nominated yachts were
* Contest 57 CS
* Nordship 350 DS
* Sirius 35 DS
* Sunbeam 42.1
* Xc 38

The jury consists of managing editors and test experts from the 18 leading Sail and Motorboat magazines in Europe. Roughly 100 new yachts reach the market every year in Europe, however; only four shipyards could look forward to winning the title of the “European Yacht of the Year" this year.

 Xc 45 · European Yacht of the Year 2009

The new award winning cruiser from X-Yachts
On Saturday the 17th January 2009, Managing Director and Owner of X-Yachts, Lars Jeppesen, was handed over the Award "European Yacht of the Year 2009" for the Xc 45 at the boot Düsseldorf in Germany.

The nominated yachts in the category "Luxury Cruiser" were:
* BORDEAUX 60
* CONTEST 60CS
* MOODY 45 DS
* NAJAD 505
* Xc 45

The jury, consisting of journalists from ten European boat magazines, stated that X-Yachts had made an impressive achievement with the new Xc 45, and that the compromise between comfort, safety and performance had been successful indeed.

X-55 · European Yacht of the Year 2007

The jury, consisting of journalists from ten European boat magazines,
had test sailed the X-55 in IJmuiden in Holland in September 2006.

X-55 · Croatian Boat of the Year 2007

X-55 Overall Winner
The X-55 has been elected “Croatian Boat of the Year 2007” at the Zagreb Sport & Boat Show in Croatia. The Croatian “NauCat” catalogue and website is the organiser of this yearly event, where boat builders around the world are invited to vote for their favourites.

X-55 Winner of Sailing Yacht above 44 ft
Apart from receiving the title as Overall Winner, the X-55 was announced Winner of Sailing Yachts above 44 ft.

Miha Spendal, the X-Yachts importer, was the happy receiver of NauCat’s statuette as well as the NauCat plague.    » See more


X-35 · Boat of the Year 2007

Sailing World Magazine in the US has announced the X-35 One Design as Boat of the Year Winner for 2007 as Best Racer/Cruiser.

The judges liked:
“The no-compromise racing layout on deck, its performance, and the surprisingly comfortable interior.”


X-46 · Boat of the Year 2006

Cruising World magazine has nominated the X-46 the winner of Performance Cruiser Over 45 Feet.

Cruising World editor, Herb McCormick, said: “The 2006 final round of 26 nominees was exemplary, as strong an overall fleet as we have seen in the dozen years we have been conduction our annual contest”.  

 

The elegant and yet sporty looking X-46 is born to set standards. The yacht was launched in July 2003 only four months after the launch.





X-43 · Boat of the Year 2004 in Italy

The X-43 has been announced Boat of the Year 2004 by the Italian yachting magazine Vela e Motore and Selma Bipiemme Leasing at the Genoa Boat Show in October 2003.

Reasons for the nomination, in the category sailing yachts from 12 to 15 metres, were; A yacht built for modern and fast cruising, designed for the demanding owner with focus on a high quality level; a yacht with an excellent layout and design which is characteristic for the Danish yard. A high level of functionality, excellent deck configuration, fittings and layout places the X-43 above her competitors.




X-46 · Boat of the Year 2004 in Croatia

The X-46 has been nominated Boat of the Year 2004 in Croatia in the category Sailing Boats 40–48 ft by the Nautical Catalogue Naucat.





X-43 · Boat of the Show 2003 in Stockholm

The X-43 was elected Sailboat of the Show at the Scandinavian Boat Show in Stockholm, Sweden and was cited for: "The X-43 is Danish design of the highest class. Functionalism has been combined with clean lines and performance with comfort. Rarely has racing and cruising been combined in such a remarkable way".
